8. Utilization of raw materials
9. Green working environment |
We have gradually built up our green manufacturing environment throughout the years and received the award of ‘Poison-Free Enterprises’ in recognition of our efforts from the Dongguan local government in 2002. We will continue to invest on the enhancement of hardware and software in order to comply with the international environmental protection standards (e.g. ISO 14001) and other standards set by the local government.
World Wide Stationery had the pioneer insight to invest in the developing countries like China and India in the last decades. Being the largest manufacturer of metal bindery parts, we have so far created more than 12,000 job opportunities in Hong Kong, China, India, U.K., U.S.A. and Canada. This should certainly contribute to the development of local economy and improve the living standard of our employees and their families, especially for those living in the developing countries.
World Wide Stationery also reinvests into the local society to fulfil the corporation's social responsibilities. One of the remarkable contributions is that our company donated a significant amount of fund to build the main building of a local hospital, namely Wang Shao Qiang Hospital, in Dongguan, China. This hospital has already served the local community for almost 13 years since 1994.
